Ilham Aliyev received the Prime Minister of Georgia

President Ilham Aliyev received Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri.

Prime Minister Nika Gilauri conveyed President Mikheil Saakashvili`s greetings to the President. Recalling President Ilham Aliyev`s recent visit to Georgia, Nika Gilauri stressed the importance of the decisions adopted during the visit for expanding the bilateral cooperation.
He stated that one of his visit`s goals was to discuss realization of the decisions adopted during the President’s visit.

Noting that he had already given relevant instructions to the government related to the results of Batumi talks, the President expressed confidence that the issues would be solved at meetings of the Azerbaijan-Georgia intergovernmental commission.

The President expressed his gratitude for the greetings of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and asked the Georgian Premier to extend his greetings to the President as well.
