President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening ceremony of a new residential estate of the Ministry of Defense in Baku. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the residential estate. The President reviewed the residential estate. Informing the President, Defense Minister Col-Gen Safar Abiyev said the new residential estate consisting of two nine-storey buildings has all the necessary conditions for servicemen. The first building with a total floor area of about 30,000 square meters has 184 three-room and 20 one-room apartments. The second building has a total floor area of nearly 18,000 square meters. There are 105 three-room and three two-room apartments here. To ensure a sustainable supply of the apartments with hot water, a modern heating system has been established. And in order to supply the estate with electricity and water, two substations and other necessary equipment have been installed. The area of the estate has been landscaped and trees planted. After reviewing the apartments, President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the residents of new buildings. ![]() SEARCH:
