President Ilham Aliyev has received Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas at the end of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Kestutis Kudzmanas for the efforts he had made to develop the bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Lithuania. Pointing to significant progress in bilateral relations, the President recalled with satisfaction the visits by the Lithuanian Presidents, Prime Minister and Parliament Speaker to Azerbaijan, adding that reciprocal visits were important to the enhancement of cooperation.

Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas said bilateral relations were at a high level. He said the leaders of Lithuania had observed rapid development during visits to Azerbaijan and rejoiced at the country’s successes. The Lithuanian diplomat expressed his confidence that bilateral relations would continue to develop.
