After the official ceremony, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon had a face-to-face meeting.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Tajikistan is various spheres and pointed to a good potential for a further development of ties.

President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon stressed the importance of the visit to Azerbaijan for a further strengthening of bilateral relations.

The Presidents exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.
