Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Education of Iran
President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Minister of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hamid-Reza Haji Babaee. Minister Hamid-Reza Haji Babaee conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the President of Azerbaijan. The minister handed over a message from the Iranian President with an invitation to the Non-Aligned Movement summit due to be held in Tehran. The sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest regarding bilateral relations between the two countries. The President of Azerbaijan expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and asked the minister to communicate his greetings to the Iranian President.
