President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Radislaw Sikorski.

Noting that the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Poland in various spheres, including political, economic, etc., was encouraging, the President said there were extensive opportunities for a further expansion of economic cooperation. President Aliyev noted the importance of mutual high-level visits to the expansion of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland. The President expressed his confidence that the visit by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to Azerbaijan would serve to further develop ties.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, said there was a good potential for a further development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The sides exchanged views on Azerbaijani-Polish relations, cooperation within the European Union and the “Eastern Partnership” program, and other issues.
