President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the reconstructed Youth Park and the Flag Square in Jalilabad.

The President was informed that as is the case elsewhere in the country, practical measures are being taken in Jalilabad in the field of youth work and efficient organization of its leisure time. The renovated and reconstructed Youth Park imparts even more beauty to Jalilabad.

President Ilham Aliyev was told that the Youth Park and the Flag Square created here had been built at a height of 50 meters in the center of Jalilabad using internal resources.

The complex covering an area of two hectares consists of the Youth Park, the Flag Square, a restaurant and a three-storey hotel for 30 persons. The construction of the hotel is still ongoing. There is also a 200-seat restaurant for cultural events and folk festivals. The park has 22 indoor leisure sections, magnificent waterfalls and a system of fountains.

The Youth Park has interesting attractions for children. Young people can play billiards, tennis, chess, checkers and other games here.

It was mentioned that the evergreen trees growing in the area have been preserved during landscaping. Besides, up to a thousand new ornamental trees and shrubs have been planted and a modern lighting system installed.

Then the President reviewed the Flag Square.

It was noted that the height of the flagpole, which has been installed in the highest point of the city, is 41 meters, while the flag itself is 20 meters long and 10 meters wide. The adjacent area has been landscaped and trees planted on it.

The President praised the work done at the Youth Park and the Flag Square and gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
