President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of an “Avangard” CJSC factory in Jalilabad.

It was indicated that the enterprise, which includes a 100-ton mill and a 10,000-ton warehouse for cleaning and sale of grain, is fitted with the latest equipment. The mill consists of a five-storey building and meets all safety standards. The receipt, sorting out and cleaning of grain, as well as flour production, are fully automated. The construction of such modern flour mills contributes to the country’s food security and facilitates long-term storage of high-quality grain and flour.

The President launched the enterprise.

It was noted that the complex for harvesting and processing grain built on the premises in accordance with President Ilham Aliyev’s policies on supporting private enterprise development has been established using soft loans and at the expense of an entrepreneur. The factory has a quality control laboratory and scales to determine the exact weight of the product.

The construction of the grain warehouse began in late 2010 in line with the technology of the Turkish company “OBIAL”.

The 10,000-ton storage facility consists of five silos, each with a capacity of 2,000 tons. Depending on the properties of the incoming grain, it is distributed among the silos that have all the necessary conditions for long-term storage. The grain stored in the silos is then transferred to the mill where it undergoes further examination for compliance with grinding standards. Then it is washed and cleaned. Since the mill complex is fully automated, the entire process from grinding to packing of grains is controlled by computer from the control center.

It was noted that rinsing of the grain is carried out using state-of-the-art equipment. Unlike other mills, the rinsing mode is selected to match grain composition, while the quantity of water is determined by computer. The grain is milled in six large installations. Then the flour is packed in bags ranging from 500 grams to 50 kilograms. The fully automated packaging process also meets environmental standards. The factory produces flour under the brand names of “İpək” and “Ocaqlı”. The mill is fitted with modern equipment of the Turkish company “Öz Başak”.

The capacity of the mill is 100 tons per day. The enterprise will employ 100 people.

The President was informed that the grain warehouse and the mill complex would produce and provide long-term and loss-free storage of grain grown by farmers of Jalilabad and surrounding districts. The project will boost crop production in the country and create conditions for supplying the population with wheat throughout the year.

The President of Azerbaijan reviewed samples of finished products.

After praising the work done, President Ilham Aliyev wished the staff every success.
