Ilham Aliyev met with British Prime Minister David Cameron
President Ilham Aliyev, who is paying a working visit to London, has met with British Prime Minister David Cameron. Prime Minister David Cameron met President Ilham Aliyev. The President of Azerbaijan and the British Prime Minister posed for official photographs. The sides pointed to a high level of Azerbaijani-British bilateral relations. It was indicated that the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan successfully cooperated in a number of areas, including the energy and non-oil sectors, and pointed to great prospects for these ties. The parties also discussed the relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain in the area of international security. David Cameron gave a high assessment to Azerbaijan’s support for NATO and the international coalition in Afghanistan.
