President Ilham Aliyev has received the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan, Lee Jiha, at the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.

Indicating that the bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea covered many areas, the head of state expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of mutual ties. Recalling his latest visit to Korea, President Aliyev said he had witnessed rapid development there. He pointed to the importance of broader cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, cultural and other fields. Touching upon the activities of numerous Korean companies in Azerbaijan, the President stressed the importance of the joint projects being implemented in our country and expressed his confidence that this cooperation would further expand in the future. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his diplomatic activities in Azerbaijan and his contribution to the development of bilateral relations, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
