President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Rogozin.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Rogozin, communicated greetings on behalf of President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev to the President of Azerbaijan.

The sides stressed that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were developing successfully in various fields, including the military-industrial sector, and exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in this area. The meeting also expressed confidence that the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Rogozin, to Azerbaijan would serve to further develop the cooperation.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and asked the Deputy Prime Minister to convey his greetings to the President and Prime Minister of Russia.
