Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Shaki

President Ilham Aliyev has attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Shaki.

The head of state reviewed the stands describing the future appearance of the Center.

It was noted that the construction of the center is intended to perpetuate the memory of the great leader. The focus will be on studying and promoting the heritage of the brilliant leader. The total area of the Center will be 5,629 square meters. The territory will also have the Heydar Aliyev Park, the Flag Square and a new building of the Shaki Executive Authority. The three-storey building of the Heydar Aliyev Center will house a museum about the life and work of the great leader, a 230-seat auditorium, a library, an exhibition hall, a conference room, training rooms, a language laboratory, and other facilities.

Built in the original architectural style, the Heydar Aliyev Center will reflect the development path Azerbaijan covered under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev since 1969. Playing an important role in promoting the heritage of Heydar Aliyev, the Center will provide opportunities for a broader vision, knowledge and skills of the young generation.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The head of state gave relevant instructions on completing the construction in a quality fashion.
