President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the M. F. Akhunzadeh Culture and Recreation Park in Shaki after reconstruction.
The head of state laid flowers at the statue of the founder of Azerbaijani national drama and great thinker M. F. Akhundzadeh.
It was noted that after the reconstruction, which has been carried out using the resources of the Shaki Executive Authority, the appearance of this area has changed completely. There are all the conditions for people’s recreation here. The total area of the park is 7 hectares, landscaping has been carried out on an area of 35,000 square meters and a variety of ornamental trees and shrubs planted. The park has the conditions for children to spend their leisure time here. There are two fountains, an artificial waterfall and a pond here.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done in the park.
