Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Choi Suk-inn

President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan, Choi Suk-inn.

Ambassador Choi Suk-inn reviewed the guard of honor.

The Ambassador presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev had a discussion with the Ambassador.

Stressing that the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea have active political ties, the President said that cooperation between the two countries in economic, cultural, petrochemical, power, transport, tourism and other areas was at a very good level. Noting that many Korean companies operate in Azerbaijan, the President said the two countries had established strong partnerships in a short time. Recalling his visits to the Republic of Korea, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of reciprocal high-level visits for the enhancement of relations. Wishing the Ambassador success in his activities, the President expressed confidence that bilateral relations would continue to expand.

Ambassador Choi Suk-inn passed on greetings on behalf of President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak. He said he would apply every effort during his tenure in Azerbaijan to further expand the relations between the two countries.

The President of Azerbaijan expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the President of the Republic of Korea.
