President Ilham Aliyev has received the outgoing Turkish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Hulusi Kilic, at the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.
Ambassador Hulusi Kilic said: In the subsequent period of my life I will continue to work as a representative and a citizen of Azerbaijan. I want you to know this. I came here, to this homeland in order to serve. And over this period I have seen strong support and assistance. Yesterday's visit was also a historic visit, my dear President!

Hulusi Kilic: We are grateful to you and Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.
President Ilham Aliyev: Thank you. I am also very pleased that the visit went well. Dear Prime Minister saw other regions of Azerbaijan. You also made a great effort to organize this visit. Overall, during your work in Azerbaijan you put in a lot of effort to bring our countries even closer together. We appreciate that. Indeed, you are a friend of the Azerbaijani people.
This is your homeland. I am sure that in your other work you will keep in touch with us.
The President said that for a special contribution to the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, Hulusi Kilic was decorated with the highest state award of the Republic of Azerbaijan – the “Dostlug” Order, and presented the award to the diplomat.
Hulusi Kilic: Dear Mr. President, it is the most honorable award I have ever received in my life. It is an honor for me to be awarded with this order. This order is truly the achievement of my entire life. In addition, the evaluation on the part of Your Excellency is truly a result, an evaluation of four and a half years of my life. I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to you in this regard, Mr. President!
President Ilham Aliyev: Thank you. Your work here was really versatile. You have earned great authority in society. I know how sincerely you love Azerbaijan. Therefore, I wish you success in your future endeavors. I am confident that our countries will continue cooperating with each other in the coming years. The meetings with the distinguished Prime Minister held yesterday and the day before once again point out how deep our relationship is.
