The sides exchanged views on issues related to various areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and France. It was noted that these relations are developing successfully in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
The heads of state highlighted the active role of French companies in the Azerbaijani economy and the importance of French investment in Azerbaijan. The sides noted that there are good prospects for cooperation in this area.
The meeting also discussed the current state of negotiations on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and steps to be taken in this direction.
