President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a dairy factory in Tartar.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the construction of the “Gilan” LLC dairy factory in the Buruj village of Tartar District, along with supporting the development of private enterprise in the district, will contribute to the production of quality dairy products meeting modern requirements. The total area of the plant is 1.5 hectares and of its indoor area 4,400 square meters.
The factory is equipped with facilities meeting international standards and has a transformer to ensure uninterruptible power supply.
President Ilham Aliyev launched the factory.
When describing the activities of the company, the chairman of the board of “Gilan Holding”, Jamil Muradov, informed the President that the factory has a daily capacity of 20 tons of milk which is delivered from different villages of Tartar. There are five milk collection stations in surrounding villages. The stations are equipped with refrigerators and mobile generators. The factory has a sales network, a laboratory that meets modern requirements and other service units. The facility employs 50 people, another 20 work for milk collection stations and 30 work in the sales network. The factory produces a wide range of cow and sheep cheese, Caucasian milk, dovga, ayran, curds and other dairy products. The production of cheese is automated. Each of the said products is produced in separate shops according to hygienic requirements and undergoes appropriate laboratory verification.
The head of state reviewed the examples of finished products.
It was noted that the current system of ventilation contributes to the normal conditions in the shops. In order to determine the composition and quality of dairy products, the factory operates a laboratory that meets modern requirements. After laboratory examination, finished products are stored in special warehouses and a cold storage area. There are plans to further expand the range of products in the near future.
