Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Park of Heroes in Barda

President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Park of Heroes in Barda.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the park.

It was noted that the Park of Heroes in Koroglu Street reflects the rapid development of Barda and is one of the central places of creativity and landscaping. The area used to be neglected before. After the construction, the Park of Heroes has become modern and beautiful. The recreation area covers 4.5 hectares.

It was brought to the President’s attention that the construction of the park began in September last year and was completed in August this year. The construction was carried out in accordance with the highest standards. At the entrance to the park there is a panel with the image of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev who has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the country. The park has a parking lot, an area of 20,000 square meters has been landscaped, over 3,000 different trees, 11,000 shrubs and various decorative flowers have been planted.

Flower pots impart special beauty to the park. There are 50 benches and five pavilions made of materials that are resistant to all weather conditions. The lighting system of the park meets the most modern standards. Children have not been forgotten either – playgrounds, various attractions and swings brought from abroad are available for them.

The “Fire” complex of the park looks particularly impressive. There are all the conditions for proper recreation of both visitors and local residents in the park. The park also operates a tea-house. The fountain laid with marble adds special beauty to the territory.

In the upper section of the park there is a monument to the Mother on a large pedestal.

President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument.

After praising the work done in the park, the President gave relevant instructions.
