Ilham Aliyev met with President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari
President Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
During the meeting the sides exchanged their confidence in the contribution of the 12th Summit of Economic Cooperation Organization being held in Baku for the further development of cooperation between the countries of the region. The sides also said they were pleased with the successful development of bilateral relations; they said there was a big potential for the further expansion of these relations and noted about the necessity to lead a coordinated activity in this direction.
It was also stressed the importance of implementation of joint projects in different areas and noted the significance of continuous efforts for the development of cooperation in agriculture and banking. The sides expressed their confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral relations between the countries.
