President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the head of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia of the Russian Federation, Rashid Temrezov.

The President expressed his confidence that the visit of the delegation led by the head of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, to Azerbaijan would be successful. Noting the importance of the forthcoming joint business forum in Baku, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the need for a further strengthening of relations in all areas, including the economic sphere, and for identifying opportunities for greater collaboration. Pointing to the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and the constituent parts of Russia in terms of a further deepening of Azerbaijani-Russian relations, the President said that the visit of the head of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia of the Russian Federation, Rashid Temrezov, would contribute to the expansion of active mutual ties.

Saying that this was his first visit to Azerbaijan, the head of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia of the Russian Federation, Rashid Temrezov, said that he was very impressed with large-scale development ongoing in the Azerbaijani capital. Noting the importance of the joint business forum due in Baku, Rashid Temrezov expressed his confidence that it would serve to further enhance cooperation.
