President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev telephoned President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul.
The head of state wished Abdullah Gul a happy birthday, congratulated him on the national holiday of Turkey, the Day of the Republic, and wished him success in presidential activities, good health, peace and prosperity to the friendly and brotherly people of Turkey.
Abdullah Gul thanked the Azerbaijani President for the attention and congratulations.
