President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials from the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to Azerbaijan, Senio Alvin Louis.
The Ambassador reviewed the guard of honor.
Ambassador Senio Alvin Louis presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then the President had a discussion with the Ambassador.
Stressing that the international cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is at a good level, the President expressed his appreciation for the support provided by this country to Azerbaijan in the UN. President Ilham Aliyev said that the visit of Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph Gonsalves to Azerbaijan helped lay the
groundwork for bilateral relations, including economic cooperation. The President stressed the importance of reciprocal visits to the expansion of bilateral relations.
Senio Alvin Louis conveyed greetings on behalf of Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph Gonsalves to President Ilham Aliyev. He said the rapid development ongoing in the capital of Azerbaijan had made a deep impression on him. Stressing that his country was interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan, the Ambassador said he would make every effort to do so during his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan.
The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves and asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings to the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
