President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Horadiz chess school after reconstruction.

The President was informed that the total area of ​​the chess school is 500 square meters. There is a modern lighting system and a green area in its courtyard. The school is fitted with the necessary equipment. In the lobby of the building, there is a bust of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, a photo stand describing the care and attention of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the development of sports in the country.

It was noted that the school has all the conditions for children and young people to discover the secrets of this ancient game. There are two classrooms and a teacher’s room, an electronic center and offices. The school also has a separate computer center, which will enable children to expand their knowledge in the field of chess and keep abreast of the innovations related to this intellectual sport.
