Ilham Aliyev received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari, at the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.

Ambassador Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari said that while traveling to all the regions of Azerbaijan during his mission in the country, he witnessed great development in Baku and beyond. The Ambassador stressed that during his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan considerable work was done to develop bilateral relations in all areas, including the fields of economy, trade, investment, etc. The diplomat noted the importance of mutual investment to the expansion of bilateral relations.

The President expressed his gratitude to Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari for his diplomatic contribution to the expansion of bilateral relations. Stressing that the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were friendly and partner countries, the President noted the importance of mutual support between the two countries in all international organizations. President Aliyev appreciated the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The head of state noted that there were opportunities for the development of economic relations between the two countries in all fields and expressed his confidence that bilateral relations would continue to flourish in the future.
