Ilham Aliyev met with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutloglu

President Ilham Aliyev has met with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutloglu in Davos.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations in all areas. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutloglu conveyed greetings on behalf of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Azerbaijan.

The parties also emphasized the importance of a number of global projects implemented by the two countries, including the Trans-Anadolu gas pipeline project (TANAP), and expressed their confidence that the Azerbaijani-Turkish cooperation would continue to develop in the future.

The sides touched upon the current state in the negotiations to resolve the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and other issues.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the Foreign Minister to communicate his greetings to Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
