A session called a “Meeting of Oil and Gas Executives” has been held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The session was joined by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the session, also attended by renowned experts in the field of oil and gas, President Ilham Aliyev spoke on cyber security and overall security in the oil sector of Azerbaijan.
The head of state touched upon the many years of Azerbaijan's participation in global energy projects and described the country's achievements in this area. President Aliyev noted that security measures in Azerbaijan’s energy sector were organized at a high level and added that there had not been any problems in this regard for many years.
Stressing that Azerbaijan was playing an important part in regional energy security, the President spoke about the country's work in this area and the measures to be taken in the future.
