Ilham Aliyev examined the progress of construction of a Congress Center in Gabala

As part of a visit to Gabala District, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has examined the progress of construction of a Congress Center.

The head of state reviewed the stands describing the plan and future appearance of the center.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the center would cover an area of 2.8 hectares and operate a two-tier conference hall for 1,200 seats. A car park will be set up outside the center.

Masonry work on the building of the center has been completed and metal structures installed. The roof of the congress center is being put in place now.

The President was informed that the road to the new social facility passes over a river bed and that a new bridge was under construction to facilitate passage over this section. In general, the 10,200 square meter congress center being built in a modern architectural style will have all the conditions for conducting high-level international events.

President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions regarding completion of the job in a quality and timely manner.
