Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev who was on an official visit to the Republic of Montenegro met with Prime Minister Milo Dukanovic.
During the meeting, it was stated that there were good opportunities for the development of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Montenegro. The importance of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit in terms of defining the prospects of our economic relations was noted. Attention was drawn to Azerbaijani investment in Montenegro and to the importance of investment projects to be implemented by our country in Podgorica in the initial stage.
The meeting noted the presence of good potential for the expansion of cooperation between Montenegro and Azerbaijan in the fields of tourism, infrastructure, transport, banking systems and other spheres and expressed confidence in the further development of economic relations.
