Ilham Aliyev received the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Azerbaijan, Peter Bateman, at the end of his mission in the country.

Noting that he had spent an important part of his life in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Bateman said he had sincere feelings towards our country. The British diplomat expressed his assurances that he would try to contribute to the expansion of bilateral relations in his future endeavors too.

The President stressed that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain were developing successfully.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the partnership established between the two countries, which is highly important for regional security and cooperation. The President wished the Ambassador every success in his future activities.
