Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada and Chair of the Canada-Azerbaijan Friendship Group

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada and chairman of the Canada-Azerbaijan friendship group, Barry Devolin. 

Stressing that this was his second time in our country, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada and Chair of the Canada-Azerbaijan Friendship Group, Barry Devolin, said that he was witnessing tremendous development processes that have taken place in the capital of Azerbaijan.

The sides emphasized the great potential for the expansion of ties between Azerbaijan and Canada in different directions, including the political and economic spheres, the area of inter-parliamentary cooperation, etc., noted the importance of reciprocal visits for the strengthening of relations between the two countries and exchanged views on issues relating to the prospects of bilateral relations.
