Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak.

Noting that he had visited Azerbaijan a few times, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajcak, said that he had witnessed extensive development that has occurred in the country over the past period. Pointing to the importance of the upcoming First World Forum of Graduates of Moscow State Institute of International Relations due to be held in Baku, the guest congratulated the head of state on conducting this event.

The President described the occasional visits of Miroslav Lajcak to Azerbaijan as a good indicator of bilateral relations between the two countries. Touching upon the First World Forum of Graduates of Moscow State Institute of International Relations, President Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that it would be held successfully and become traditional.
The sides exchanged views on further expansion of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia in various fields.
