President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to Azerbaijan, Carlos Dante Riva.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to Azerbaijan, Carlos Dante Riva, reviewed the guard of honor. Ambassador Carlos Dante Riva presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Ambassador.

The head of state stressed that bilateral relations between the two countries were developing successfully in recent years. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of reciprocal visits of various levels for the expansion of ties.

The President also said that the two countries had established effective partnerships in various areas, including political, economic, trade, inter-parliamentary and other areas. President Aliyev emphasized that the two countries had been cooperating successfully within international organizations as well. The President expressed his hope that during the diplomatic activity of the new Ambassador to Azerbaijan the partnership between the two countries would grow further.

Ambassador Carlos Dante Riva pointed to the presence of good opportunities for the development of cooperation in many directions, including the spheres of healthcare, agriculture, energy, etc.

Noting the importance of joint projects for the expansion of cooperation, the diplomat said he would do his utmost in this direction.
