President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the Flag Square in Shabran.
As is the case in all other districts of the country, the Flag Square established in Shabran attracts attention with its grandeur. The Flag Square is further evidence of great respect and deference to state attributes in the country.
It was noted that the height of the flagpole is 26 meters. The square is located at the entrance to Shabran. The area has been extensively landscaped. The square has all the conditions for people’s recreation. There is also a modern lighting system.
Elements of Azerbaijani architecture have been widely used in the construction of the square. The building in the Flag Square demonstrates state attributes of Azerbaijan, the emblem and the ancient map of Shabran. On the third floor of the building there is an exhibition on the history of carpet weaving in the region, on the fourth there are exhibits related to folk arts and crafts created by folk group "Khinayagdi", and on the fifth there are works of amateur artists from the district.
