President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Kurdamir District.
The President of Azerbaijan visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Kurdamir and laid flowers at it.
The head of the Kurdamir District Executive Authority, Irshad Aliyev, informed President Ilham Aliyev about the landscaping work carried out in the Heydar Aliyev Park and around the statue of the great leader.
It was noted that two fountain complexes, a waterfall, a 300-seat outdoor cinema, a carting track, a children’s amusement park, a shop, a mother and child café, and a merry-go-round had been built in the park.
An area of 5.6 hectares has been landscaped, decorative trees and shrubs planted and an irrigation system installed in the park. The park is now well suited for the recreation of local residents, including young people.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the work done in the park.
