As part of a visit to Ismayilli District, President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a garment factory.
Thanks to the attention and care about the development of private enterprise and the non-oil sector, new production facilities are emerging in the country and jobs are being created. Along with Baku, this is clearly evident in the regions as well.
The Ismayilli garment factory is one of the new plants established thanks to the favorable conditions available for entrepreneurs. It operates equipment that enables high quality production. These measures, in particular, are of great importance for increasing employment. The establishment of new production sites in the regions also contributes to the economic development of the country as a whole. President Ilham Aliyev has identified the development of the non-oil sector as one of the main goals, which has contributed to the achievement of important results in this field. It is noteworthy that, in addition to Baku, the role of the regions in this issue has been growing every year.
In the lobby of the factory’s office building there is a photo stand reflecting the activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, their work on the development of the economy and visits to Ismayilli in different years. A showroom demonstrates the factory’s products. The offices have good conditions for productive work. Factory workers will also use the services of a training room and a canteen.
The President was informed that the enterprise operates cutting-edge equipment manufactured in Japan, China, Russia, Germany and Turkey. The establishment of such an enterprise is a good contribution to improving the employment situation in Ismayilli. The courtyard of the factory has been extensively landscaped and trees planted in it.

President Ilham Aliyev: We are creating jobs for women too. These are the jobs the country needs. Moreover, we are addressing the issue of women's employment. In any case, the creation of jobs, the organization of work in such beautiful and modern conditions is a welcome development. I congratulate you!
Seamstress: Mr. President, we are very grateful to you for the creation of such beautiful conditions for women in our district, for our garment factory. God bless you! Amen!

President Ilham Aliyev: Thank you very much! Things in Ismayilli are going well. The new administration of the district has also started to work hard. We have already implemented a drinking water project. Now the city will be supplied with drinking water.
There are other projects as well, jobs, social facilities, a bus station. We will now go to the opening of a power plant.
Work in Ismayilli is going forward comprehensively and fast. The creation of such jobs shows that the district can already maintain this dynamics.
