Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the “Caucasus Caravanserai” hotel complex in Gabala

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the “Caucasus Caravanserai” hotel complex in Gabala.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the hotel.

It was noted that the complex, an important tourist attraction not only for Gabala District but also for the entire region, has perfect infrastructure facilities. The complex is equipped to the latest standards as well. The hotel covers an area of 5 hectares. Its construction began in May 2012 and was completed in August of this year. The complex, which is also a unique architectural structure, will provide high-level services.

It was noted that furniture and accessories produced in foreign countries were used in the interior of the building, which has been constructed on the basis of a synthesis of avant-garde and modern styles of architecture. The hotel has all the facilities for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Azerbaijan, which aims to further strengthen its positions among developed countries of the world, has already become a venue of the most prestigious international events. In addition, our country is paying special attention to the development of the non-oil sector and tourism. These and other realities necessitate the expansion of the hospitality industry and its transition to a qualitatively new stage. Currently, the government of Azerbaijan is implementing a series of measures in this area. The "Caucasus Caravanserai" hotel complex is one of the major steps in this direction.

The four-storey complex was built at the level of the latest standards. In the basement of the hotel there is a parking lot for 44 cars, a laundry, a swimming pool and auxiliary facilities. The "Caucasus Caravanserai" hotel complex has 159 rooms, including 139 suites, 12 family rooms, six royal suites and two rooms for the disabled. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, men's and women's hairdressing and beauty salons, two Turkish baths, two steam rooms, two SPA-salons, two fitness halls, a pool and tennis facilities, two saunas and a massage room. The complex operates a 150-seat restaurant, rooms for meetings and conferences for 100 and 12 seats, and lounges for kids. The tourist complex is equipped with central air conditioning and heating systems. In addition, the hotel has three fountains with lounges around them. The hotel grounds have been fully landscaped, ornamental trees planted and a fountain built.

The "Caucasus Caravanserai" hotel is expected to provide permanent jobs to 120 people. The complex is fitted with the latest equipment. The rooms have beautiful design and interior. The numerous visitors of Gabala will be provided with high-quality services. It was noted that the opening of the "Caucasus Caravanserai" hotel will facilitate growth in the number of tourists coming to the region.
