As part of a visit to the north-western region of Azerbaijan, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Gakh District
First, the President visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the district center.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremonies of the Shaki-Gakh section of the reconstructed Shaki-Gakh-Zagatala highway and the Olympic sports center. After reviewing the Olympic sports center, President Ilham Aliyev met with representatives of the local public.
Then the head of state took part in the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center and a ceremony to commission water supply and sewage systems of Gakh city.
A conference center of the El Resort Hotel was also opened during the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Gakh.
