President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new office building of the Agjabadi District branch of the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party”.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the new office building.
While touring the building, the President was informed that the construction work had started in June 2012 and was completed in August of this year. There are photo stands in the building describing the activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev in relation to the public and political life of the country, including the "Yeni Azerbaijan Party".
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the rooms of the building.
The office building has 10 rooms, as well as conference and meeting rooms. All the rooms are fully suited for fruitful work of party members. Special attention has been paid to the application of information and communication technologies. The offices are fitted with the necessary equipment. On the second floor of the building there is a bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev. The 70-seat assembly hall can host events of national and district level. In addition, there is a smaller meeting room here.
The President was informed that the district branch of the party includes 9,200 members. The ranks of the organization grow every year, mainly due to young members joining the party. Currently, 42 per cent of the members are young people and 43 per cent are women.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done and gave further instructions and recommendations.
