Dear Islam Abduganiyevich,

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I congratulate you and through you all the the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the national holiday – the Independence Day.

It is gratifying that Uzbekistan has made significant progress in public, political, socioeconomic and humanitarian spheres today. The high level of Azerbaijani-Uzbek intergovernmental relations is particularly commendable. The all-round cooperation is steadily growing, while the traditionally friendly ties between our two countries are developing.

I am confident that our joint efforts to further develop collaboration and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will continue to serve the interests of our peoples.

Dear Islam Abduganiyevich, on this remarkable day I wish you good health, happiness and every success, and the people of Uzbekistan peace and prosperity.
