President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan, Robert Jan Gabrielsen.

The diplomat handed his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev had a discussion with the Ambassador.
Robert Jan Gabrielsen said that the process of rapid development ongoing to the capital of Azerbaijan had made a deep impression on him. He conveyed the best wishes of His Majesty the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexanderto the people of Azerbaijan.
The sides pointed to the presence of good potential for the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands and noted the importance of joint projects for the development of relations in various fields.
The parties also exchanged views on ways of further expanding the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union and expressed their confidence that bilateral relations would continue to strengthen.
