President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a Boxing Center built by the "Gilan" sports club in the Archivan settlement of Astara District.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the Center.
In the lobby of the center there is a photo stand describing the visits of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the district.
It was noted that the construction of the Center began in February and was completed in August. The area around the sports facility has been extensively landscaped. A new outdoor mini-football field with artificial turf and a modern lighting system has been established.
It was indicated that rooms equipped with everything necessary for staff were located on the first floor of the building. There is a gym established in accordance with the standards of the International Boxing Federation here. The center is well suited for the training of athletes. The infrastructure of the building also meets modern requirements.
