President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Baku-Gazakhhighway-Samadabad-Garamammadli-Garamanli-Goyuk road.
The President of Azerbaijan reviewed the stand describing the technical parameters of the road.
It was noted that the construction of the 25-km road was launched in July of this year.
An initial 3 million manats was allocated for the construction of the road under a relevant decree of the President of Azerbaijan. The construction of a 5.5-km stretch of roadhas already completed. The road, which is of great economic importance, covers 11 villages with a population of 8,300 people. The distance to Garamanli and other villages has been reduced by 23 km.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the road.
