Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Yevlakh City Central Hospital

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Yevlakh City Central Hospital.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the hospital.

Minister of Health OgtayShiraliyev informed the President that the construction of the hospital, which covers an area of 4.3 hectares and has a floor area of 18,600 square meters, began in March 2012. Three out of six units are four-storeyand othersare three-storey.

President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the hospital.

The medical facility operatesan outpatient clinic, an antenatal clinic,a family planning center, a laboratory, admission, maternity, urology, surgical, traumatology departments, adepartment of infectious diseases, radiology and hemodialysis units. The hospital also has sterilization, gynecology, anesthesia, intensive care, ENT and ophthalmology departments, and a department of internal diseases. There are all the conditions for conducting a variety of surgical procedures.

The medical establishment is fitted with the latest equipment, including computed tomography, digital X-ray machine, fluorography, 4D and 3D ultrasound machines, an ophthalmic unit, etc.

The President expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out at the hospital.
