President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the progress of construction of the "Karabakh" sanatorium in Naftalan.
The head of state was informed that the total area of the sanatorium is 5 hectares. The construction of the five-storey building of the sanatorium began in 2012. There will be 132 rooms for 264 people here. The construction area is 9,500 square meters. The construction work is to be completed in the near future. The sanatorium will have the conditions for the recreation of local and foreign visitors. As a result of this project, the number of people visiting Naftalan for rest and treatment will increase. Thanks to the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev, who is attaching great importance to the creation of the tourism infrastructure in the country, Naftalan is transforming into a major tourist center.
The President of Azerbaijan gave instructions on timely and quality completion of the construction work.
