Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new office building of the Guba District Executive Authority

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new office building of the Guba District Executive Authority.

The head of state and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva were informed that the building, constructed in a modern architectural style, imparts further beauty to the city. The three-storey building is fitted with the necessary equipment and systems.

It was noted that the building currently housing the Guba District Executive Authority was constructed in 1959. Even though the building was renovated, it did not have acceptable working conditions. The new building is located in the Culture and Recreation Park named after Heydar Aliyev. Its construction began in August of last year and was completed in September of this year. The construction has been carried out at the highest level.

In the lobby of the building there is a bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev, who has made a tremendous contribution to the development of our country, and a photo stand reflecting the public and political activities of the nationwide leader. The photographs describing the great leader’s visits to Guba District in different years are of particular interest.

The building's interior is tastefully decorated. Overall, the building has 35 offices. The spacious rooms have all the conditions for work. The 250-seat assembly hall is equipped with a modern sound system and can host various activities related to the public and political life of the region. The building also operates a 50-seat canteen provided with modern equipment and a separate room for meetings with local residents.

President Ilham Aliyev and Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the operational management center established in the building. It has all the conditions for direct communication with representatives of the Executive Authority on the ground.

The President visited the conference room. It was noted that the 25-seat hall meets modern requirements. While examining the architecture and construction department, President Ilham Aliyev was informed about the master plan of Guba, the electronic map of the district and the work done. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done and gave further instructions and recommendations.
