President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Green Theatre built in the Culture and Recreation Park named after Heydar Aliyev in Guba.

Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva was presented with flowers.

The President of Azerbaijan cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Green Theatre.

It was noted that the construction of the theater, built on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to conduct cultural events of national and district level, started at the beginning of this year. The theater’s auditorium is designed for 1,000 people. The Green Theater is equipped with sound and lighting systems based on the latest technologies.

The President of Azerbaijan and his wife were also informed about the flag complex established in the Heydar Aliyev Park.

It was noted that the establishment of flag squares in Baku and elsewhere in the country is a testimony of respect for state attributes. The flag complex in Guba District is also important from this point of view. The height of the flagpole here is 78 meters.

It was indicated that a children's entertainment center had also been built in the Heydar Aliyev recreation park. The café covering an area of 480 square meters will operate summer and winter sections.
