Ilham Aliyev cast his vote at polling station No 6

9 October 2013 is the day of another presidential election in the history of Azerbaijan.

Since the very first minutes of the election process at polling station No 6, which is located at secondary school No 6 of Sabayil constituency No 29 of Baku, there has special excitement.

At 10:00 on 9 October, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva and other family members arrived at the polling station.

President Ilham Aliyev entered the voting room, collected the ballot paper, proceeded to the voting booth and then dropped his ballot paper into the ballot box.

This moment was observed by Azerbaijani print media and TV channels and representatives of foreign countries.

First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and other members of the President’s family cast their votes as well.

President Ilham Aliyev met with international observers.

A total of 724 voters were registered to vote at this polling station. The voting process is observed by foreign observers, representatives of nongovernmental organizations, various political parties and candidates for presidency.

As in all other polling stations throughout Azerbaijan, voters at polling station No 6 of Sabayil constituency No 29 vote for a happy future of our people, further strengthening of our state, economic revival, dynamic development, stability and prosperity.
