An exhibition called "Azerbaijan over 10 years. Socioeconomic development: implementation of state programs" has opened at the Baku Exhibition Center. President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the exhibition.
Three of the exhibition pavilions display industrial, energy, information and communication technologies used in Azerbaijan, the country's achievements in the field of agriculture, private enterprise, transport, tourism, emergency situations, urban development, healthcare, science and education, youth policy and sports, ecology, water supply and sanitation services, culture and other spheres, as well as the main indicators of socioeconomic development of the regions.
The first hall of the exhibition which is divided in 14 sections features 51 state agencies and more than 70 private companies.
The head of state and his wife reviewed the exhibition stands in the sections of "Macroeconomics", "Industry", "Energy", "Information and communication technologies", "Transport", "Emergency situations", "Urban planning and public property", "Foreign policy", "Youth and sports", "Culture and Tourism", "Social development and services", "Ecology", "Water supply and sanitation", "Agro-industrial complex".
Then, President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the second exhibition hall with pavilions describing the socioeconomic development of the regions. The stands in this section broadly reflect the work done within the framework of state programs for each district. The stands provide extensive information about the creative and landscaping work ongoing in the districts, the creation of new institutions and enterprises, jobs, social facilities, etc.
The 300-seat conference hall located in the third section of the Baku Exhibition Centre hosted a presentation on "The Heydar Aliyev Foundation implementing projects and programs aimed at the dynamic development of Azerbaijan". A film "Azerbaijan: yesterday and today" was demonstrated in a closed assembly hall.
A stand of the "Azerbaijan Airlines" Closed Joint Stock Company is also displayed.
The outdoor section of the exhibition introduces the technology and equipment used by various government agencies and companies, as well as the products made by Azerbaijani companies.
