Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of Brazil to Azerbaijan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Azerbaijan, Santiago Luis Bento Fernández Alcázar.

The Ambassador reviewed the guard of honor.

Santiago Luis Bento Fernández Alcázar presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev had a discussion with the ambassador.

Ambassador Santiago Luis Bento Fernández Alcázar congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the 9 October presidential election. The diplomat said that the process of rapid development ongoing in the capital had made a deep impression on him. Stressing that it has been 20 years since bilateral relations between the two countries were established, the Ambassador said that he would spare no effort to further strengthen ties.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Federative Republic of Brazil were developing successfully. Noting that relations in the political sphere were also at a good level, the President said there were opportunities for cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, business, tourism and other fields.
