Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of Montenegro

President Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Montenegro Branko Milic.

Ambassador Branko Milic reviewed the guard of honor.

Branko Milic handed his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev then had a conversation with the Ambassador.

The Ambassador conveyed greetings on behalf of President of the Republic of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic, Prime Minister Milo Dukanovic and Speaker of the Parliament Ranko Krivokapic to the head of state. Branko Milic said he would spare no efforts to contribute to the further development of existing friendly ties between the two countries.

The head of state expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro. President Ilham Aliyev noted that bilateral ties between the two countries have been rapidly developing in the past few years to produce good results. The head of state stressed the importance of high-level reciprocal visits in terms of the strengthening of the relations.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked for the greetings of President Filip Vujanovic, Prime Minister Milo Dukanovic and Speaker of the Parliament Ranko Krivokapic, and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the Montenegrin President, Prime Minister and Parliament Speaker.
